The Mognola Lake area is located in the upper Vallemaggia. From Fusio you drive to Alpe Vacarisc and from there continue on foot for about 1h-1h30’ to the destination, with an elevation gain of about 500m. Climbing takes place in alpine terrain with exceptional rock, ideal from late spring to early fall. Overhangs, vertical walls and slab passages provide fun for all levels. The exposure of the sectors that are scattered along the trail from Lake Mognola to the ancient aqueduct carved into the rock allows climbing even during hot summer days.
